Our Story
Cellar Four started in a pretty simple way.
I grew up in Adelaide, Australia, surrounded by wine regions where wine wasn’t treated like a luxury or a lesson it was just part of life. Weekends meant visiting wineries, talking to the people who actually made the wine, and learning that every bottle has a story behind it. Wine was about connection, not credentials.
When I moved to London, I noticed something strange. Wine was everywhere, but it often felt… disconnected. Subscriptions were transactional, bottles felt intimidating, and the human side of wine the makers, the stories, the why was missing.
At the same time, everyone I knew was craving more real connection. Hosting more at home. Catching up over dinner instead of drinks out. Wanting moments that felt intentional, not rushed.
So Cellar Four was born.
It’s a wine subscription and marketplace built around how we actually live and socialise today. You choose what you’re into, I curate the wines, and everything arrives ready to open and share. No pressure, no pretending to know everything, just really good wine with stories worth talking about.
I spend time connecting with winemakers, learning how and why their wines are made, and sharing that context with you. Because knowing the story makes the bottle taste better (trust me).
Cellar Four is also about the moments around the wine. Hosting at home. Curating the perfect dinner-party line-up. Pulling out conversation cards that turn “just one glass” into a long night of laughing and talking.
At its heart, this brand is about giving you an excuse to catch up weekly. To romanticise your life a little. To slow down, open something special, and actually connect with the wine, the people behind it, and the people sitting across from you.
Wine doesn’t need to be intimidating. It just needs to be shared.
